ESX 5.1 on HP Pavilion dv7

Hi

I was wondering if you know whether it is possible to install ESX 5.1 on laptopt ?

I have HP pavilion dv7 laptop and after inserting a cd with iso file the kernel loads up the drivers and when the installlation should start the screen goes black and cannot install the distribution

any ideas is the laptop not supported ?
