Thanks Mark. I'm afraid you'll say that.
I've read that on the guide but was hoping that I can get a break on the SS. Haha.
Now it means I have to plan on getting lots of RAM on the new server when I upgrade to View 5.1.
Based on the VMware guide:
1 Connection Server, 1 Replica Server and 1 Security Server = 30 Gb of RAM.
1 View Composer = 8 Gb of RAM.
1 vCenter, 1 vCenter IS, 1 vCenter SSO = 10 Gb of RAM
Total: 48 Gb of RAM just to support View in small environment (< 50 desktops).
That sounds like a lot and that's not including the RAM for the Win7 desktops.
If per desktop has 2 Gb RAM x 50, I will need to have at least 148 Gb of RAM?
Yikes!
Is that sounds about right, Mark?
